PLOT PLANNING

Title: CAPTURE

Synopsis: 

Ashley Walton a 17-year-old girl becomes aware of frequent appearances of an anonymous figure and his suspicious behaviour whereby he appears to consistently take pictures of her on her way to and from college, as well as going about her normal life; seven days later she starts receiving these photos in brown envelops- one at a time.

At a sleepover she confides in her friends and tells them about the man, however they continue to tell her she’s just being paranoid. Later the same evening, when she looks out her window, a man is there watching the house from her garden. Assuming that this is the man with the camera, she goes to tell her friends but when they look out of the window, he’s gone.

Several days later, she receives a picture of herself in a situation that hasn’t happened yet in which she is tied up in a dark room. Realising that things have got out of hand, she decides to take matters to the police.

Erin drives her to the station and leaves to go home- dropping her off on the way through.

PC Quinn takes the report and they seem to get on well so he offers to drive her home- but they have to stop at his house for an unknown reason. After hearing a noise from the car, Alice goes to investigate- goes into the kitchen and is hit with a frying pan, knocking her out

Ashley wakes tied up in a dimly lit room, surrounded by photos of herself scattered on the floor with her face scratched out. On the wall are photos of the boy that was in her garden with the same style photos leading to the realisation that that boy was not the 'camera man'.

She hears a thud from the other side of the door and the boy enters and unties her from the corner he explains that he was the last target but he escaped and was trying to warn her. They try to escape but eventually Noah tells her that he will distract him to let her escape- He fights Max and is strangled to death. Alex hears his shouts and goes back for him, finds him dead and then escapes through the forest where she is chased by him and hit by a branch and left for dead

Dog walkers find her and she ends up unconscious in hospital

Max is then seen taking more photos of his next victim leaving him open to attack again.

City/ urban area- Norwich City Centre
